So I've been distant lately, I've had a lot going on in my life and a huge amount to deal with, I've not really had the time or energy to do as much work on the forums as I'd like to. And that's what I've seen it as - Work.
I'm not enjoying it at all anymore, I dread when I come on for numerous reasons. I guess you could say I've out grown it.
I'm not going to lie and say "I'll still be around", because I doubt I will be. Too much stress has been caused by the forums for me to happily just sit and chat in the shoutbox like old times. There will be off occasions that I appear, but don't hold your breath.

Saying this, I wish you all the best of luck with everything, and ask you all the behave for mKeRix and the rest of the team. <3

New TF2 server - collect hats together!

Hey there,
on the weekend we decided that we should setup a new gameserver to extend our network and use the resources available. Team Fortress 2 is a great game played by many people, and thanks to it being free 2 play and on Steam it's easy to get. So why not provide a bro server for this game?
So, that's exactly what we did. We created a server sporting all payload maps and all features Valve made available for servers - that means you'll have the perfect experience while playing on our server! Our high quality hardware and connection is powering all of our servers, ensuring a great time for everybody.
As usual, all you have to do to connect is enter the IP projectpew.net (either do this in your favorites or use the direct connect).

So, come on, connect to the server and blast away! Show off all your cool hats and items and just have a good time in general. And if you like it (I'm sure you will) recommend us to your friends and get them to play with you. You can even join our Teamspeak server and talk while playing to have an even better experience.

Welcome to the future!

So, almost one year ago pewdiepie.net launched. Every since that happened, we've been the home for many people and a community for a lot of bros to share their experiences and works on. We've been through crazy times. But, as time passes by, you want to improve it. So did we - and now proudly present you Pewdie n' Friends 3.0.
Apart from all the changes on the backend and all the new functions I'll explain shortly after posting this thread, we're now sporting a new look! You can enjoy our new, modern site right away by just using the default template. If you don't like red, that's no problem: we also have green, blue and black variants. Just scroll down to the style changer and look for the mineral names, we named them accordingly.

The way to a new experience

The quest of trying to make a webpage perfect is a never ending task. You keep on improving and adding features, and you continue doing this as long as you support the site. We, the Pewdie n' Friends team, want to make this site the best possible place to go on for finding information about PewDiePie and meeting new people. As preparation for a new experience that will roll out soon, we deployed a lot of changes today, giving you a taste of what is still to come.

Over the day we added many little things to the site, and to show those to you, I'll compile a list of new things.

1. Homepage
   We have a brand new homepage now, centralizing all the interesting things going on here on one page. It automatically shows up when you visit page, so you'll never miss out on anything.
   
2. Automatic Post Backup
   Every post you write will be saved to our cache in a 15 second interval. This way you don't lose all of your work you put into your new awesome thread when your browser suddenly crashes.
3. New user profile functions
   We now calculate your online time and statistics to visualize your activity in on our site.
4. Security
   We added a few new security layers to the site, making it harder for bots to sign up and easier for us to detect them, along with other people making double accounts and similar bad things.
5. Secret
   In a short while we will also deploy another secret to the site, but we're still waiting for our gfx monkeys to finish it.

It's been almost a year of us being online and open for the public now, and I want to thank you all for supporting us on our way to the ultimate bro hub.
